The Beetroots formed in 2025 when three Toronto teens with diverse musical taste and background formed with aspirations of making an indie rock band. What started with aspirations of making music with friends has evolved into every teenager's dream of forming a band with their friends to create music.

Drawing inspiration from bands such as Slipknot, My Chemical Romance, Arctic Monkeys, and Radiohead, The Beetroots have crafted a distinctive sound that resonates with fans across the musical spectrum. Their name, a playful nod to their friend group's name, the Beetroot Group, perfectly encapsulates the sense of camaraderie the band has adopted towards its members and fans.
